Subject: Distraction Burglary - Rudheath & Weaverham - Information Please
This week we have reports of several distraction burglaries across Weaverham and Rudheath,
using a 'Water Board' access excuse.
Can you ask all community Watch members if
they have information about males seen door knocking (in particular at the homes of elderly residents) in the last few days.
Possibly selling goods or making other enquiries. Also suspicious vehicles.
This Week 09 11 Mar09 - Areas of interest: Weaverham, Rudheath - Northwich area and possibly - Helsby, Frodsham areas
Please collect
any information which ideally should include:
Day, time. Vehicle (registration & description) seen Description
of person(s) seen What were they doing
Try to give hair colour, visible markings ie facial hair, tattoos,
earrings, etc accents clothing
any ID carried
any noticeable
words used at the door
You can e mail any information to your local
community police teams, or if collected via Home Watch Co-ordinators, and in this instance to , this western watch e mail.
